You guys know as well as anyone how dearly I love Audrey Hepburn and her work, but I just realized, watching Sabrina again, that watching her makes me feel so... clunky and gauche and insufficient. She's perfect. Perfect and tiny and classy and cute and perfecter than perfect. It's not like watching Marilyn who is perfect but with whom I have a lot (too much) in common, physically and otherwise. Marilyn makes me feel right, Audrey makes me feel wrong. I don't like her any less, though, clearly. It's just something I realized just now.
